Very good addition to the series :)

This was a very good story. I liked both Braedon and Asha and felt for what Asha had to go through. The story very good and engaging.

Asha is a Fire mage/dragon hybrid. On her dragon side, she's the daughter of a dragon seer and has visions but hasn't been able to take her dragon form. Her supposed "father" (a dragon her mother was forced to mate) imprisoned both her and her mother and she was only freed recently (in book #2). Because of what she's gone through, Asha isn't too happy with dragon kind and tries to hide what she is.

Braedon is a Huntsman and Fire Mage. He and his sister came into the story in book #2 when the dragons helped him save his sister from certain death. Braedon and his sister ended up accompanying the dragons and so Braedon is part of the rescue effort that freed Asha.

Asha is staying with Morgan and her mates in their home after she's freed from her ordeal. She's not willing to trust the dragons because of her mage gifts, thinking that they'd think less of her if they knew. She is able to deal with the other mages though and there's a connection between Asha and Braedon. Unfortunately, the dragon council is still showing signs of being corrupt and the dragon who took her father's place on the council tries to force her to go with him, regardless of her wishes. She doesn't trust him because of his connection to her father's house and she doesn't want to be subjugated by anyone after living a prisoner all her life. In an effort to escape the issue all together, Asha declares that Braedon (as a mage) to be her mate and since the council's messed up laws where human mages are concerned allow her to do it, there's nothing anyone can say about it.

Obviously, things between Asha and Braedon get a rather abrupt and unexpected start. Braedon is a bit flummoxed at first but he soon gets with the program when danger threatens Asha. There are some issues that come to a head and Asha almost dies, forcing Braedon to make some tough choices and go through a lot to make sure his mate is safe and alive. TBH, I felt kind of bad for the couple because things don't end there. Asha's father is causing problems and he comes after her with a vengeance, wanting her seer power under his control or wanting her dead. A number of mages and dragons come to help and this allows us to see some setups for possible new couples. Asha and Braedon do pretty well at standing together once they are mates and made a good pair. The story ends quite dramatically...Braedon and Asha end with a HEA but there are lingering issues in the action plot that aren't resolved.

This was a very enjoyable story. I wasn't sure what was up with Asha at first but the more I read about her the more I liked her. I liked Braedon pretty well from the beginning so I was happy to see him get his girl. This was a good addition to the series and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Overall, I was very pleased with this story and I'd recommend it. :D

Break out the champagne! Another wonderful read from Ms. Lucille!

Loved how I was transported back to the world of dragons and mages. Here the story focuses on Asha a fire mage/dragon seer hybrid. During the story she comes more into her powers and and develops her relationship with her mate, Braedon, a very powerful fire mage. Brandon fights alongside her for both her right to choose her own path in life as well as aid the dragons in their fight against a corrupt dragon (her stepfather). There is wonderful world building of dragon society and the author certainly drops bread crumbs for future relationships which I can't wait to read.

I think what I really appreciate about this author's writing is that she really knows how to spin a tale, make the reader feel like they are in a totally different realm. People talk differently, dress differently, behave differently - there is no jarring 20th century, whiny teenage like voice I often encounter with other fantasy romances. The heroine is brave and smart and the hero too, but not an alpha a-hole. Most of all, the author does not overdo the sex scenes which too many romance writers rely upon as a basis for a book.

An excellent read. I suggest you read the first two books before reading this. Try the first book first and if you like it then, lucky you, you can keep on reading to book 3, don't have to wait that long ;)

I wasn't a fan of a mage hero since I prefer a dragon hero but Braedon won me over. Asha was just the right blend of independence and girl power but not to the point that it got annoying or overpowered Braedon. The story was fast paced and full of action. It was well thought of :) the storyline was quite developed, it hooked me from start to finish and as usual I didn't want it to end.

SPOILER ALERT for those who read the series: What's the relationship between Asha and Theron? ;) My guess was wrong.

It's great to see the characters from the previous books as well and how Kelly Lucille incorporated them in the story. Great job! K.L.

Eagerly awaiting the series...definitely more books to come!

Emotional, angsty, gut-wrenching and heart-mending roller coaster!

Wow, what a ride Mati and Beau took me on! I wasn't expecting so much feeling from this book but I'm beyond pleased with what I got!

Matisse is hyper focused on making this year of college a success. Work, school, painting and applying for an internship leave no room for love.
Beau is reeling from a major toss up in life and isn't adjusting so well. Love isn't even on his radar.
Both are lost and trying to find themselves again and yet they will find they both desperately need each other!
This is definitely an emotional story. From the small daily angst of uncertainty in life and love to the major heart-break life can bring us, Beau and Matisse go through it all! I love the way this story was truly a roller coaster ride, up and down and up again, yet we aren't being thrown a bunch of petty bulls***. The emotion is so raw and real and the characters confusion comes through so authentically. The writing makes you feel as though you're thinking these things yourself instead of just standing on the outside. You get love, despair, pain, angst, confusion, betrayal, grief, loss, perseverance, strength... I can't think of enough words. There's plenty of dialogue and the interactions between the characters seem so true to life that these could be my classmates or friends. The secondary characters we meet are pretty great, I look forward to their stories in the future.
While this read was very emotional, it did not lack for steam! The sexual tension is off the charts and when we get to the real action... well, I definitely wouldn't read this in public ;). And, while very HOT, it is still emotional. The feelings come through in the sex, making it that much more authentic!
Over all, I loved this book, can't wait for the next couples story and will be adding Ms. Paula to my auto one-click authors!
I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance that takes a curvy road to get there!
This is a full length, stand alone romance with an HEA!

Sweet New Adult Romance, Worthy Read

Nothing creates emotional upheaval like being young and trying to establish your place in the world while balancing demands from parents, friends, employers, and potential soul-mates. Between Everything & Us does a wonderful job of balancing the beauty of youthful dreams and the strength in embracing adult realities.

What I Loved: Author Rebecca Paul wrote a beautiful story full of emotion, conflict, and love. As I started writing this review I checked back and highlighted over 15 vibrant quotes that just sing. Matisse and Beau are wonderfully flawed characters and I fell for both of them quickly and completely.

What I Didn't Love: The back and forth between Matisse and Beau builds tension but eventually I wanted to grab the both of them and yell "Stop it, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Also, I would have appreciated a little more detailed backstory on Matisse's time before coming to Sutton for a second chance.

Favorite Quotes:

"He looks as if he's reading my mind - close to bending down and kissing me. I wouldn't mind that. Right now. In front of everyone."

"Mati is a someday-girl, the one you're supposed to meet later when you're less of a prick and have your s*** together. Someday girls are lost to idiots like me now, and if I'm being honest, they don't exist in the future either."

Expecting a nice read I found a deep romance novel

I must admit this book was a surprise to me. Expecting a nice read I found a deep romance novel. Beau and Matisse each struggle with their own set of problems. And each of them copes in a different way. One thing is for sure both of their ways suck big time – but on the bright side – both of them know it. Things are not always like they appear on the outside. And we learn while some people suffer in silence, others tend to leash out to hide their hurt.

I loved the development between Beau and Matisse. There might be voices that think it was to slow but I feel it was just right and suited their characters. The reader has enough time to get to know bot of them. Which is a part that I found often neglected in novels lately. No matter how good steaming hot sex can be, sometimes nothing is sweeter than anticipating the first kiss.

I basically only had on slide problem with the plot. I could understand his reasons for not having a relationship in the beginning and once he made up his mind I even fully understood when he was "pissed" because naturally he was "jealous" - what I did not get was why she was always moving forward and backward in her line of thinking. In the beginning it made sense, as he was equally giving the wrong signals at all times. But as the story moved along her wavering attitude really lost its meaning.

Anyway this is a solid 4 Stars read and I am looking forward to the next Releases of that series

LOVE THIS BOOK! From the very first page this book sucks you in, and the conflict starts right away, which I LOVE! Cael is a hero to adore. He's kind, gentle, but assertive and owns his authority. He's sexy and he'll do anything for the woman her loves. What can be wrong with that? I also liked the humor in this book. I love an author who can throw in a joke here and there, even in the middle of a sexy scene. P. Jameson does it perfectly. Can't wait for the next one1

So freaking fantastic! A Mate's Revenge is the third book in the Ozark Mountain Shifters series by P. Jameson and it totally rocks! I have followed this series from the very first book and have loved each and every one. The stories have all been exciting, original, powerful, compelling, thrilling, romantic, heartwarming, endearing, arousing and steamy. The dialog is always smart, snappy and very well written. Throughout all three books, the characters have been fascinating, captivating, well developed and sexy. The characters have become as familiar as friends and family. In this book, Cael, alpha of Ravendale Pack, is finally able to seek revenge against Jax, the evil alpha of his former pack, Ozarka. But will he be too late to rescue his former love, Besh? Will he ever be able to forgive her betrayal? Will Trager and Vesh, also former members of the Ozarka Pack, find happiness with their mates with Ravendale? Can the scars and pain be healed by love? I guess we'll just have to ask little Stella! Sexy alpha wolves-check! Beautiful sassy mates-check! Romance, angst and steamy love scenes-check! Yeah Baby! Now, we just have to hear more about Lexar and Avan! Yes - maybe? That would be a wild ride! Fantastic entertainment and an awesome read!

I really enjoyed a book that makes me laugh and makes me feel part of the story. I enjoyed the book because the characters from the previous books where there also. Loved the series because they all got their happily ever after and I rate this a must buy just just keep them coming.

I fell in love with Ramos in the last book when he stood by Slater & Casper and I'm so glad to see him find his HEA in this story.Sandrine does a wonderful job portraying the struggles of Ramos & the men returning from war with PTSD & other addictions such as alcoholism. Callahan finally coming to terms with a brother's death is even stronger yet more glue to hold them together or blow them apart.

This entire series is a keeper and one to read again and again. Well done.

Tiernan Callahan has been lashing out at everyone he meets, especially gay men, ever since his brother was killed in the line of duty and he found out that Mason was engaged to be married to a man. Truly hurt that his brother didn’t trust him enough with that secret, his subconscious seeks victims for his anger and he makes one too many homophobic slurs in public. Considering he’s a cop and is supposed to remain impartial, he lands in hot water with his boss and is assigned a gay man as his partner—Danny Finnegan happens to be the boss’s younger brother as well.

It seems that no matter where he goes in a city as big as New York, he continually bumps into a friend of Mason’s fiancé, Dario Ramos, and Dario hates the big-mouthed bigot for treating his friends poorly. Dario was sent home from active duty after he lost his leg in battle. Now working for the Wounded Warrior Project and sponsoring fellow PTSD-suffering vets in AA, Dario just wants peace in his life, and he doesn’t get it when Tiernan continually rubs him the wrong way.

During a face to face confrontation, it’s evident to both men that their nice, safe, straight worlds are somehow tipping when they find the confrontation exciting in more ways than one. Fortunately, Tiernan really isn’t a homophobe, and he and Danny enjoy long talks as they work the streets of New York, becoming friends and eventually confidants. Danny is one of the first to know that Tiernan is attracted to Dario and offers advice on how to pursue the tall, sexy Spaniard. In turn, Dario’s friends including Casper and Slater (“A Fighting Man”) push him to pursue Tiernan if that’s what he really wants.

Both men heal emotionally as they begin to explore their attraction to each other. I liked the fact that the author gave them time to get familiar with each other and each other’s bodies before jumping into sex. And I liked the fact that she gave them friends who were able to explain what they needed to know before engaging in sex. Two straight men shouldn’t necessarily know exactly what to do and that was recognized here. I also enjoyed the author’s writing style and the fast pace of this slow-burn romance. And GFY is usually my favorite type of story so two GFY guys in one story was a bonus for me.

The secondary characters were well-developed as well. Dario’s mother was sweet and spicy—perfect for him and having a mother like that explained a lot about Dario. Tiernan’s mother was a witch and thankfully wasn’t on-page very often, but Danny, Casper, Slater, Tiernan’s brother Michael, and his precinct Captain were all essential to the story and given three-dimensional personalities.

Taking all that into account, it’s easy to see why I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to any lover of M/M romance—but especially to those like me who love a GFY story that’s hot, sexy, and sweet all at the same time.

Ramos and Tiernan are a sexy fit!

The Men of Manhattan series just keeps getting better and better! Dario and Tiernan's story is so powerful, the subjects dealt with in the book are tough subjects, but Sandrine's gift for story telling keep them from being overwhelming without being disrespectful to those subjects. I am a huge fan of this author and this book is as good as any of the others she has written. These two men have a ton of really hard things to deal with and it is awe inspiring how their journey unfolds.
Tiernan Callahan is a cop with the NYPD. He had a stellar record until the death of his little brother Mason ripped his world apart. He found out, through his brother's devastated fiance, that Mason had hidden a huge part of who he was from him. He had had no idea his little brother was gay and he feels betrayed by the fact that the love of Mason's life knew Mason better than he did. After lashing out at a domestic disturbance call between two gay men, his captain decides he needs a partner to teach him respect for gays. Turns out, his new partner is the gay brother of the captain, Danny. Danny is out, loud and proud. He can handle Tiernan easily. Danny is a good cop, and he softens Tiernan's hard edges and is a great listener helping Tiernan face reality and understand the new emotions he feels. Dario Ramos was a great soldier who had lost his way for a bit after losing a part of his leg during combat. He fought back after going down the wrong path, now he works for the Wounded Warrior Project, is an AA sponsor for soldiers with PTSD. He is friends with Casper and Slater, the latter having been injured with him overseas. He thought he had a girlfriend until he came home to find her packing. Seems she only stayed with him this time because people called her a bitch for leaving Dario when he came home wounded. He and Tiernan did not have a good relationship because Tiernan and his brother Michael beat up Casper when he tried to visit Mason's grave and the mom was ugly about the situation. Tiernan and Ramos butt heads a lot, but something was changing. When Tiernan takes care of Ramos one night, Ramos begins to see a side to Tiernan that he didn't know existed. Dario had mostly only dated women, though he never put a label on himself. He was finding himself attracted to Tiernan after that night. Tiernan finally identifies why he has been so angry and who he was really angry with over his brother's death. Finally understanding this, he apologizes to Casper and clears the air there. Now he is realizing that he has feelings for Ramos and is going to act on them. His partner Danny helps him a lot, Danny is unfazed by him and often lightens the mood with his antics. Ramos and Tiernan finally approach each other and admit their feelings and this opens more issues for them as neither has ever been with a man. They have their work cut out for them. Not only their own personal demons, but Dario's friends are against them and Tiernan is very afraid about his own family. His mother won't admit Mason was gay, even though the video Casper gave the family says it, and Tiernan is worried that he will lose his brother Michael as well. All these things play out in a very emotional, but not dark, story. All of this is woven with Danny's humor. He keeps it all from being too heavy. Danny's history plays into the story as well, and I hope he might be the next one to get his book. This is a wonderful story of acceptance and forgiveness, love and loss. I keep rereading it, it is that good. And with Dannyisms like him singing to a bad guy in the squad car, "the wheels on the squad car go round and round, round and round" a book that could have been dark and depressing, isn't. It is a book that will leave you smiling. It is just a great love story that will warm your heart and leave you in awe at how amazing our wounded soldiers are and make you want to support the Wounded Warrior Project so they can assist these young men and women who have given so much of themselves for all of us.

Satisfying end to this debut series...

Nice conclusion to this passionate series...
I'm really glad that this installment didn't have the somewhat "bizarre" sexual encounters that occurred in part 3... not bizarre in a bad way but just stuff that didn't appeal to me personally. That's the way it goes with erotica though... we all have our likes and dislikes. :) Part 4 was more along par with what I enjoyed in the first two installments... so, I was relieved.
This installment was a nice healthy balance of schmexy and story... and their passion for each other is still quite evident. They are a very likable couple together. Bryce makes it his mission to get to the bottom of the mystery behind the man who stole Sofia's money and bring him to justice and Sofia has to make her peace with her feelings of self consciousness when it comes to her sister. And, there are a few surprises at the end that have enticed me to continue on with the next set of stories. They will revolve around her sister. Let's just say she's going to give someone the "royal" treatment I think. **giggle**
This is a pretty good debut series for this author and I will definitely follow her next series to see how she grows as a writer...

Bryce does not disappoint! He is still my knight in shining armor... *sigh*

Bryce has decided he needs to help Sophia find a way to bring her missing partner Brad to justice. Brad stole millions of dollars from Sofia and her clients. Bringing Brad to his knees and sending him to jail is the only way for Sophia to re-establish her business reputation.

Sophia and Bryce are over the moon about each other. As their relationship grows they settle into a relationship that is both sensual and comfortable. They mutually help each other and their emotions grow deeper with every day they spend together. One little problem... Bryce needs Ciara, Sophia's bombshell sister, to help him with the lighting of his new New York office. Jealousy is really the green monster that makes people become irrational!

Great reading! Bryce does not disappoint! He is still my knight in shining armor... *sigh*

Overall great series

This is the last installment to Sofia's story. The first three pieces are Never Say Never, French Kiss, and Exposed.

This is probably my least favorite of the series. I didn't hate it and still found the story enjoyable but feel it paucities. It lacked continuity with the first three segments. For example, the entire story started with Sofia's money troubles but now after just a few jobs she suddenly is financially stable. Then later we find out she was swindled out of tens of millions of dollars so it's hard for my analytical side to aggregate the details.

Here's the scoop. As noted in the synopsis, we get our happy ending and it's really quite satisfying but there's a lack of hot, sexy times much like in the third one. It's too wrapped up in the story of saving her business but at the same time I get why. It's at the crux of how they met; plus Bryce loves being in charge and wants to be her hero. Sofia's sister, Ciara is heavily featured in this story. About halfway through reading this installment, I wondered if she'll get her own series. Guess what? She does! And if her last scene isn't making you think that princess has a dirty, sexy side I don't know what will.

In some ways this last part of Sofia's story feels less galvanized and somewhat predictable, but overall I still love the series...and maybe surprising to myself, I particularly love all the sex scenes. They're scorching, dominating, and explosive.

The action, suspense and pure passion in this book is exceptional.

Hot Ice is the 7th book in Lynn Raye Harris' awesome Hostile Operations Team Series. A military style romantic suspense series with smart, unique heroines and strong, sexy heroes.. Each book has a unique intensity that plays the hero and heroine and yet remains part of the whole.. A job well done.

Grace Campbell is the daughter of privilege her father is considering running for President of the United States. Fancy balls, special dinners with the politically elite and schmoozing with the best of the best and Grace hates all of it. She prefers being the shy, geeky girl and spend all her time in the lab. When her special virus, created to help cure the flu, gets all sorts of international notice. Grace's life goes from semi normal to totally insane! Now her father wants her to have a bodyguard, a sexy as all get out bodyguard but a bodyguard nonetheless..

Garrett “Iceman” Spencer loathes spoiled little rich girls. He's seen enough of them and his ex-wife is the queen of them all. Now he is forced to deal with acting as a bodyguard for another such miss. And the reason he got pegged for babysitting duty? His mother taught cotillion and Garrett spent many years as the extra male. In short, he knows what fork to use. He is so never going to live that one down. Garrett might resent the duty but is sure it won't really affect him.. Only one look at Grace and the Iceman started melting..

The action, suspense and pure passion in this book is exceptional. Once again Ms. Harris writes a book worth reading. The men on her H.O.T. team are truly steamworthy and the women?? Well what's not to like? These aren't vapid females with a case of the vapors.. nope they are strong, intelligent, resilient women..

In Hot Ice, the enemy is out to discover a biological weapon and won't stop until they succeed. Garrett and Grace must forge a bond that will take them through the fires of hell.. One tattooed, musclebound bodyguard and one shy, reserved, scientist alone against the world. What could go wrong? Or better yet? What will go right?

I am totally loving this series and so happy that Ms. Harris' team wanted my review. In my book, Ms. Harris rises to the top of the Military Suspense genre!!

At the first look Garrett and Grace could not be more opposite of each other. Garrett is cynical, 'Iceman', career military man with no intentions to ever step into a relationship again, after a bitter divorce, and trying to balance between the job at HOT and his daughter. Grace is a nerdy scientist, insecure as a woman, and brainy when it comes to her job, hiding behind a bit icy exterior, to protect herself from getting hurt.
Soon, Garrett and Grace find themselves opening up to each other, sharing their history, hurts and pain from the past, and their lips locked together. They burn up the scenes, again and again. Every time it is 'the last time'. And the feelings start to grow, surprising both of them.
The romance between Garrett and Grace is raw and steamy, and the story mostly focuses on that aspect. How they deal with their insecurities, personal problems, and Garrett's days of bedding as many women he can after the divorce.
They are on the run, trying to escape the people after Grace, and her research materials. The constant threat is present, the build up for the collision is well done, but the collision itself seems somehow not so sharp, almost as an afterthought. I wish the story would have focused more on the suspense part, on the action running from the mobsters, and how HOT solved the case behind the attacks on Grace.
When reading long running series like HOT, it's always nice to visit with the old characters, and seeing where life has taken them over time. Hot Ice, while not the strongest book in the series in my opinion, was enjoyable, and good addition to the series. There's no doubt I will keep reading the books, and following the HOT team with their adventures.

Little too unbelievable

I couldn't rate this book very highly. When a PHD talks about an "antibiotic response" the "virus" she created, all credibility goes out the window. Antibiotics don't kill viruses, only bacteria. A doctor would know that. Not enough research was done here. Also, there were some plot elements that were a little too unbelievable. Like the fact that he always managed to grab a condom when they were trying to run for their lives, and the fact that he never ran out of cash. I like my fiction to be a little more realistic than this one was. It was my first Lynn Raye Harris novel. Not sure I want to investigate anymore of them. Sorry.

Perfect short and steamy read

Dare Me Once is the perfect quick and quirky read to stash in your handbag when you're waiting at your next doctor's appointment, if you don't mind a mild blush or having to utilise the waiting room magazines articles to fan the heat off your face when you get to a certain spicy and raunchy car park scene.

With novella's I sometimes find it difficult to believe in the timeline of events as so much has to be packed in to very little space and achieving a happily ever after and getting a sense of realism in the 'I love you's' can often be very tricky. In Dare Me Once the situations and romance between holidaying burnt out detective Bryce and café owner Kayla feels organic and not forced as it all begins with being in the right place at the wrong time and an uncomplicated vacation hook-up. The development of the plot and the characters is very well done giving us valuable insight into how past mistakes and incidents have consequences and repercussions without ever going into an overabundance of detail. It's a lovely sweet romance but had a lot of good laugh out loud moments courtesy of certain observations by our strong heroine Kayla and the witty and comedic banter between Bryce and her.

'She bit down on the tip of her finger and stared at him while he mopped the floor, "Oh yeah, baby, wash those hardwoods down," she whispered. Nothing like a man who saw cleaning All. The. Way. Through. It had to be a pretty good indication of his stamina in bed, or his attention to detail. Either way, she couldn't stop staring.'

If you're in a bit of a reading funk then I suggest you take a chance on this novella by Marquita Valentine, it's the perfect remedy to reset your palate for the next big book release. It's fairly short, very sexy and really well written.

I liked it alot sweet and short

To start I am a huge fan of teh Dare books and this one stars Bryce who was Deklan's partner on the police force. We have a little interaction with Decklan in this story. It is a stand alone though and is fairly short and sweet at about 80 pages, though its not rushed at all and everything is tied up in the epilogue.

As opposed to Decklan who is into tieing up, Bryce is not. He is a sweetheart whose ex left him high and dry and after a tough case he goes on vacation to a beach town where his grandparents own a house.

On his drive he in he is starving and he pops into a restaurant where he meets the heroine, Kayla. Kayla is a sweetheart and a great cook and he has been dumped by her ex who also stole every penny she has. So she is hestitant to date Bryce. But he convinces her to give her a chance.

Their attraction is very deep and very fast and it was fun to watch them fall in love. This is really a fun story with nice characters and a very sweet story. Not a whole lot of angyst, but a fun falling in love story.

Dare You NOT To Love It!!!

I just finished the absolutely wonderful book by Marquita Valentine. It, as usual, has all the features I love in book-love, passion, romance, and small town relationships.

Bryce is a NYPD detective that is taking a well needed vacation in a small beach town. He ventures into town to find something to eat, and gets more than he bargained for. He finds himself in a diner run by Kayla, whom he physically appreciates from the moment he sees her. He intervenes in a situation that arises at the diner, and shows what a great guy he is. Kayla agrees to go to dinner with him to say thank you, but the action in the Jeep after they eat says it all!!!
They continue to see each other while he is in town, and he realizes all to soon that he is falling for her, and she has definitelygot it bad for him. Bryce gets scared and leaves, breaking her heart, but then realizes that he can't stay away.
The perfect ending to their story as they both say YES to this new chapter in their lives!!!

LOVE LOVE this story. BUY IT NOW!

I bought this book because I loved the blurb about it. Anything vampire is interesting and what is great about this story is the different take on the genre. It grabs you by the throat from page one and never lets go. ( I am so hoping this will be developed into a longer book someday. ) I really can't say a lot as it will lead to spoilers and I never give anything away. The title of the story leads you to think this is about children. Which it kind of is, but as you get going you will learn it is much more than children. The characters are likable. Even the vampires. But enough of my rambling, BUY this and settle in with some hot tea and a hour or two. You won't regret it.

Great, quick-paced love story about a human and a vampire. Recommend!

Bree gave me a copy of this novella to read and provide an honest review for her. A story about a young girl, Laine, who is kidnapped by vampires as a blood source, and is then 'freed' by Harry, another child who has been taken. Skip ahead 15 years, and we find Laine at college where she is reunited with Harry. I was happy this was such a quick and easy read so that I could find out what happened to Harry after Laine escaped, and what would happen now that they found each other again. Simply written, fast paced, and leaving you wondering about what will happen next. Hurry up and write the next one Bree!!
