Trust is a big word.
By Kathryn
Trust. It's a big word and not one that Gwen gives easily. When she moves in with her newest foster family she has no idea the things she will learn. This was a great beginning to a trilogy, and I was hooked from the first chapter. The characters run smoothly and the story line is fulfilling.

amazing!

I love this new series! Brenda Harper is an amazing author! She has some mad writing skills that keep me suspended throughout the entire story! Great new genre for me. I'm not too familiar with the Welsh history or Druid history. Loved it. Very different. Book two! I need it now!!!

Cliffhanger
By M
The story was hard to get into. The h whines constantly about being a foster kid and not being able to trust anyone. Ever. The story begins with her going into a new household with five other kids. The author spends a lot of time describing each child but then completely ignores them for the rest of the story. The H is one of the "children" and the h love interest, which is kind of creepy. She has other suitors that are introduced throughout the story and she always has inappropriate and uncomfortable thoughts about them. Maybe my views are antiquated, but I don't recall ever having those kinds of thoughts when I saw a cute boy. I was mostly "oh my grad he is so cute!"
Anyhow, I read the entire "book" and it flowed pretty well, I only noticed a few grammatical errors and some run on sentences. Overall it may have needed a quick edit but not much.
The story was okay, it kept me interested for the most part. However, once the story started to get interesting it just ended. I would have rather it had some form of conclusion.
I guess it's not the worst book I have ever read, but it is not one that I care to continue.
