Worth all the emotions you will feel!! Plus hot hockey players!!

Can you say multiple book hangovers?? I loved every book and every character in these books. All the characters were intertwined in the series which made it even better! There's a lot going on in these books a lot of emotional and sexy scenes!! So get started in this sexy hockey series!!

Love love love this series

Bound: I have a new book boyfriend and his name is Jason "Ryke" Ryker.
Ryke and Kate have each gone through tragedies and are at different stages in the healing process when they meet. The story is told in alternating POVs which I loved. I enjoy being able to hear both sides of the story, and I love reading the guy's POV. There is also a lot of sexual tension which is another thing I love.
Their journey at times is heartbreaking. Brenda did an amazing job dealing with their grief. The thoughts and emotions Kate and Ryke had felt very real. At times I found it difficult to read through the tears. There was also just the right amount of humor thrown in to balance it out.
Captive: If you haven't read Bound yet, read it now. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Go read it now and then read Captive. This series is an amazingly wonderful, emotional journey. Captive picks up 2 years later. We get to see what has happened over the last 2 years through several flashbacks. Kate and Ryke's journey is very emotional, and very real. In Bound they each suffered their own loss. In Captive, they suffer loss together. What makes this book great is how real the characters are. Many people have gone through what Kate has gone through. All the thoughts and feelings that both Kate and Ryke express are very real, and very relatable. Brenda certainly has a way of making you cry, but she can also make you laugh. At times it was difficult to read through the tears, but she mixes in just the right amount of humor. We see Kate and Ryke work through their struggles, and while things are not perfect, the story is perfect. Brenda did an amazing job with both Bound and Captive. I can not wait to read about Luke in the next book.
Edge: Ryke is still my number one book boyfriend, but I did love Luke. The sexual tension between him and Dell was hot. Their banter, the sexting...their chemistry was perfect, whether they were together or not. The epilogue was amazing...a perfect ending to the story.
Drive: This is Niko's and Sadie's story. We first met Niko in Edge, but didn't really know him. As soon as Niko was first described in this book, I was in love with him. There is a lot of sexual tension between Niko and Sadie. They are both resisting each other, but for different reasons. They have great chemistry and I loved the banter between them. I laughed. I cried. I got pissed off. But in the end, it all worked out.
Release: While this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the rest of the series. Bound, the first book is free, and that's where I met my former number one book boyfriend, who is now number 2.
I have a new number one book boyfriend and his name is Orion Caldwell.
He is sweet and caring. He's protective, but not overbearing. He and Samara are perfect together. They are both trying to move on from their pasts and they need to figure out how to do it together. There is also something that happens to cause Orion to figure out what he wants to do with his future (which Samara does not see herself in).
This book had me laughing and crying. At times it was difficult to read through the tears, but Brenda knows how to throw in just the right amount of humor.
All of our favorite hot hockey men make an appearance, along with their wives. It's always nice to get a glimpse at the other characters and see what's going on in their lives.
This is one of my most favorite series. Although I'm sad to see it end, I'm looking forward to the On the Line series.

Hot Alpha Hockey Men

And the women who melt their hearts. Four players from the same team, Ryke, Luke, Niko & Orion. Brothers by the love of the game. Four women, Kate, Dell, Sadie & Samara, each with their own stories. We all have a past, either good or bad, but it's what we do with our present and future that defines us. Each couple, unique to their story let's you see that regardless of their celebrity status, the boys have their own past hurts. Ms. Rothert writing brings everyone's emotions to the surface and you can't help but feel them as if they were your own. Can't wait for the spin off series, On The Line.
