Excellent!!!

So after reading the others in this series I couldn't wait for this one. It was good but missing the action and romance as the others. Wasn't expecting that ending so hopefully book 5? She is a new author so I agree give her a chance. I am looking forward to the next series that Bella has coming.

The story continues? Book 4 keeper me going just as much as 1-3. I live the characters and the story line. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Unfortunately not the book I'd hoped for 2.5 stars

When I read the first book in this series I assumed it was a standalone which it obviously wasn't I even overcame my dislike of cliffhangers and continued reading, this was helped by the fact that the wait between books was short and all the books have been offered free for a certain amount of time.
While I've really enjoyed this series I have to be honest and say I found this book a bit disappointing for several reasons, firstly while one of the strengths of this series has been Kate she's been a fantastic female lead I'll admit I was worried at the end of the last book that she'd pull the typical TSTL thing like so many other female characters and I was pleasantly surprised when she didn't, this was short lived as she had her stupid moment later.
There's a meeting with another character, don't worry I'm not going to spoil it, but Kate and Matt come away unsure of what's going on....seriously, I know they've got a lot going on at the moment but what else could it mean. I didn't like this scene at all it just felt off almost as if it had been added later for a future tie in, it seemed well... silly and out of character, even for that character.
The end of the book was also like a race to the finish line I couldn't understand why there was such a rush but then the story finishes at 63%.
Now it wasn't all bad I loved the beginning where Kate is picturing her headstone 'Here lies Kate Samuels, who did the right thing, and look where it f***ing got her'
I also liked that there was no cliffhanger and while a lot of unanswered questions remain we know it's not the last we'll see of these characters.
