Don't start this series!

I'm actually angry how this 3 part "series" was written. It is not even a cliff hanger. It is one book split up to rip you off. If you want to finish the story you have to buy all 3 books. I'm very, very disappointed. Shame on the author. Don't trust the good reviews here. When I saw Goodreads reviews after the fact they were much more honest and felt like I did. Used. Story did make me curious but the way this was written after book 2 leaves me wanting to never read this author again!

Holy mother of wow! What did I just read? I was not expecting that! This is book 1 of a trilogy. I knew that but I didn't realize this was going to be more of a back story book....which is still okay. It was just a surprise. Basically it is setting you up for the coming books. It tells you the past between Chloe and Jackson - how they became friends and why they aren't. That's it. I enjoyed it. I wish it would have been longer and not have left me with such a cliffhanger but oh well...I'll just have to get the other book as soon as I can. Definitely worth reading!

Holy Cliffhanger!!!!

Promise to marry follows Chloe from age 7 when she goes to live with her Aunt and Uncle and meets her new next door neighbour Jackson and up until she turns 30.
The books jumps between different ages and we learn that Chloe and Jackson had a falling out in their early 20's but you don't find out what happened until the LAST PAGE and WOW I did not see that coming.
There is actually 2 big things that leave you wanting the next book NOW
I really enjoyed this book it's a quick read which is good because once you start you will not want to put it down
