An Absolute Must Read !!!

From the first line I was DONE sucked in and couldn't put it down !!! This story is beautiful, emotional ,HOT and with just the right amount of angst .
Deacon ( The Hitman) is a sexy , dirty mouthed MMA fighter and Frankie a beautiful dancer / HIS Princess .. Friends ever since they were young . They have a chemistry that can not be denied. A love that has always been there but can friends become lovers ?? I seriously can't believe it's Mandis debut novel and I'm not so patiently waiting for more ....

This book had me twisted and made my heart race from start to finish. I’ve never in all my years of reading, have met a fictional character like Deacon Love . He’s one of a kind. And he’s someone that loves fiercely; loves with everything that he has. Mind. Body. Soul.
Deacon is a beast. His weakness: Frankie and his temper. Frankie, the Princess, a total spitfire. Deep down in her soul she knows she loves Deacon but she’s afraid to put her heart on the line.
Deacon and Frankie have known one another since forever. Over the years they become inseparable causing Deacon's feelings for Frankie to cross the line of friendship. He's in love with her and has been since he can remember. Heartbreaking news has Deacon losing hope but never once does he give up on his Princess. 2 months later a rather traumatic event happens and he never leaves her side, not once.
When they finally do get together is like a blaze of fire. Passionate and beautiful. You'll drown in the angst, the feelings, the hurt, the sadness, and the heartbreak.Those were the moments that were earth shattering.
This story will leave you lusting for more, on the edge of your seat panting as you gasp for air. As a book, let alone an author's debut novel it was utterly brilliant and a breath of fresh air. Kudos, to you Mandi on writing one hell of a cliffy!!!! I cannot wait to continue reading the next books in this series and any other books she writes. Mandi, you’re stuck with me woman! LOL.

Not bad for a first book BUT...

Not bad for a first book BUT...it does end in a cliffhanger after it went in circles of drama for way too many chapters. Definitely could have been summed up in one book. Matter of fact, I just skimmed the last few chapters to find the cliffhanger. That being said, was it a good book? Sure, Deacon is your typical cocky foul mouth jerk that we all love. Frankie, the girl he's loved forever, that's the center of his world, and is the center of everyone's world, didn't have a lot of depth. I couldn't see WHY he loved, why everyone loved her SO MUCH, their "Princess". What made her so special? Will I read the next one, only if it's cheap, meaning 99 cents or less.
