This author never dissapoints!

I love Cassandra Carr, and not just because she is a hometown girl who writes about all the things I love most: our city and sports. CC writes just damn good stories, and this one I have been waiting for - for like forever! And She didn't disappoint. Two more wonderful characters one couldn't find, and she brings them, and their friends, to life. There is nothing more romantic (le sigh) than watching an 'older' man fall in love. And when a jock falls for a geek...?!?!? That was sooooo up my alley it wasn't funny! Ok, I do have one complaint: it wasn't long enough. Of course, what I was really hoping for was a 500 page book for them, but hey....lol.
All kidding aside, CC's writing is always high quality. Her storylines, dialogue, character development, and punctuation(laugh all you want- you would be surprised at what type of writing skills are put out for purchase) are always perfect. This is one of my few author's that are always an automatic buy for me.

A Sweet Romance

Another wonderful story and addition to the Storm series by Cassandra Carr. I really liked Jon and Mari's newfound relationship and it was realistically portrayed. Jon is confident coaching the guys on the hockey team but when it comes to dating, he is not quite so sure how to act around a woman he likes since he's used to being alone. I liked that he did not come off as being "all that" just because he was an athlete; he was really sweet and caring. Mari was adorable and had lots of spunk which I enjoy in a heroine. I enjoyed watching them go on their dates and getting to know one another. This was a sweet romance that I would have loved to see more of.
