Not faithful to Carly's world

I don't like writing bad reviews, but I really had to cause I found so many wrong things in this book... if you don't want SPOILERS, please stop reading.
I might have going into this with the wrong set of mind, but since this supposedly happens inside Carly's Dare To Love World, I was hoping it was faithful to that world and to those charachters. All the other books I've read in this series have used that world in minimum doses, and I think that was a very smart thing to do cause it's really hard to portray a charachter that's been created by another author. But Adams decided to go a little deeper and, for starters, the fact that there's another Dare sibling apart from the two 'original' families doesn't compute to the image of why Robert Dare had two families. It twisted the world created by Carly.
Then comes all the Dare siblings that Adams decided to use in the story. Well, that was not a good idea and the one I hated the most was Ian. He's not such an ass as it's shown in the story. At least not at such a point, when he's already married, with a daughter. He and Alex have already come to some kind of peace, so Ian's charachter wasn't done justice. Not at all. There was also an information about the team, when Ian and Alex were arguing about Ian being the head of the team - well, the team was inherited from Ian's mother's family, so of course Alex couldn't be running it.
Apart from all that, I found the love story shallow, and I didn't buy into it. I also didn't like Adam and the way he treated Amber most of the time.
I'm really sorry about writing a bad review, but I wanted to warn some fans - this will not be faithful to Carly's world, and that was the main reason I didn't enjoy it.

Wonderful addition to the Dare series

I loved Amber and Adam together! Amber Bigsby was tough and didn't want to rely on her famous brother for help, so she lived on the streets and did what she had to in order to survive. Well, she got in a situation that led her to meet Adam Dare. Adam, like the rest of the Dare siblings, had abandonment issues. Their chemistry was visible from the moment they met and I was rooting for them from the beginning. Adam had to accept some hard truths, and I think it made him a stronger and more developed character. This was a great, fast read and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy the Dare series.

I fell in love with the story from the get go. Amber and Adam are awesome if two people belong together it them. This book is loaded with Humor , family drama, learning to except the present an letting go of the anger from the past, forgiveness,Love,relationships,not giving up on family, pride, and how to let someone in loose some of the pride. You will find all of this in this book I absolutely love the new series and can't wait for the next book in the series . Ohhh I forgot to tell loads of hot men!!!!! . Most defiantly a must own for your library.
