Best Series EVER

This series has topped my favorites list, J.C. Daniels know how to torture a hero and have them come back kicking. I read three of these straight through no stopping; I laughed I cried I wanted to reach into that book and kick butt myself. Kit Colbana is such a great character; hell each character has a uniqueness to them you love them all.

I'm hooked!

After reading these 1st three novels in the series, along with the short prequel, I'm hooked! I'll definitely be reading more. The stories are pretty violent, but the violence isn't graphically detailed - it happens but it isn't dwelled upon except as it deals with the heroine's personality. The characters are pretty complex & the "good guys" are sympathetic, even though the heroine, Kit, is too stubborn for her own good. The editing could have used a little help, but either it wasn't as bad as some or I'm getting used to the lower-priced Kindle books having this problem pretty consistently. If you can tolerate the prepositions being missing from a lot of sentences, you'll get through it. If you like Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series, you'll probably like this one, too.

Skeptical, then hooked

I was a little skeptical in the first chapter, some of the themes in the book were different than I was used to for supernatural books. Kit was pretty edgy I wasn't sure if I could be interested in her. But when I started on the second chapter I was hooked. I devoured these books the week I bought the box set. Then I frantically searched for the most recent book. You will LOVE this series!!!
