What a debut!!!! Bring on Dragon!!!

I haven't read a numerous amount of M.C books but this one blew me away.
Jordan Marie takes two totally different worlds and throuws them together to combust into one heck of a story!!!
Dragon is the no holds barred Savage M.C Prez and he doesn't ask, he takes what he wants!!! Nicole is an independant fiesty chic who doen't censor her thoughts!!!!
One day changes everything when Dragon and Nicole cross paths and Dragon sets his sights on Nicole!!!
Saying no to Dragon may be on the tip of her tongue but not even she can deny the magnetic pull their chemistry creates.
Dragon has demons that haunt him but have made him the man who is today and Nicole will do what she has to do to break down the walls that he has erected.
Betrayal and rivalry threaten to cause chaos in an already unsturdy environment.
Can Dragon shield Nicole from the demons out to destroy them?
Will Dragon finally let go long enough for Nicole to catch him??

Debut novel that will blow you away...

I have to say that I am blown away that this is a debut novel, as it is one of the best that I have read. I was captivated by this book from the beginning. So much so that I was up until 6 AM trying to squeeze in "one more chapter." We all know how that goes though.
This book is about two people who weren't looking for love, but they found it anyways. Dragon is President of the Savage Brothers MC, so he lives a life full of violence and sex. Yes, women find bikers sexy as hell, and there are always club whores, AKA "Twinkies," that abound in an MC club. Nicole is moving out on her own for the first time in her life. Life at home consisted of being ignored or being shown off by her wealthy parents. Though she never wanted for material things, she always wanted someone who would love her for who she was. On her first day in town, Nicole runs into Dragon at the gas station and they have a rather funny introduction. From the beginning Nicole knew that all Dragon wanted from her was sex, but she never imagined how deep a connection they would actually share.
Dragon is an alpha male who knows how to handle his business in and out of the bedroom. I thought the sexy times were smoking hot!!! He starts out all tough and gruff in the beginning, but as we delve deeper into the story, you come to feel so much for him and what he has lived through. While he appears confident on the outside, it is easy to see that there are some parts of him that are scarred, and where he is unsure of himself.
I really loved this story. I thought it was well written, and the story line was intriguing. I have read MC novels where the MC lifestyle seems to take over the book, and you get mostly violence and sex. There are readers who love those types of books, but I also like a story that I can sink my teeth into. Breaking Dragon exceeded my expectations in that area. Sure there was violence and sex, but it was secondary to the story for me. I enjoyed the way that the romance developed between Dragon and Nicole. You could see right from the start that they were opposites, but where one was weak the other was strong. They complemented each other perfectly.
I thought the character development was natural. I didn't feel as if the story was rushed, and I was able to see it unfold rather than simply "being told" what was going on. I felt myself immersed in the world that the author created. I had moments where I laughed out loud, was surprised, became pissed off, and fell in love. I have read books where the author sometimes overshadows the main story by bombarding the reader with too much of the secondary characters, or information that is not needed at this time, but Jordan Marie balanced that line beautifully. I got a good gist of who the secondary characters were, but there was enough mystery there that I can see where the story may go and it leaves me wanting more. This is obviously a good thing since it will be part of a series.
Likes: Twists and surprises, natural character development, well thought out story line, good set up for series, strong female, alpha male with a heart that bleeds, excerpt from book 2
Dislikes: Some editing issues here but that is expected in a debut novel, and did not detract from my rating at all
Overall, I thought the book was amazing and I highly recommend it. I haven't read an MC romance that I have enjoyed this much in a while. I am blown away that this is a debut novel. I also thoroughly enjoyed that the author provided an excerpt from the second book in the series, Dancer. I am eager to see where his story takes us. I have a feeling it might rip me to shreds.

I Loved it from start to finish!
Nicole and her best friend finally get to make the move in their lives that they always hoped for. The decision to make a detour on the last stretch to their new home, changes their life in a huge way.
From the first time Nicole and Dragon lay eyes on each other, you feel the sparks fly back and forth between them.
Nicole is sassy,with a strong backbone,and she holds herself against every attempt Dragon makes to get under her skin...
Dragon has a reputation to stand up to, as the President he can't show his men the weakness she causes him. His past, and his life style, has him trying to keep her at arms length. But the chemistry is just to strong and keeps drawing them both back in.
The banter between them had me laughing, and neither of them were afraid to say what was on their mind. Throw into the mix her best friends opinions and Dragon has a battle on his hands..
When trouble really arises...
who will be strong enough to make it through alive ???
I recommend this book, and as a Debut, Jordan Marie has created a great start to her new series... I look forward to #2.. ***** 5 stars*****
