Miles was a jacka$$ and Liz was weak...SPOILERS

Oh, let me count the ways in which Miles is such a jacka$$:
1. Marries his high school gf because of unplanned pregnancy and realizes within two weeks of living with her it wouldn't work. Instead of getting divorced, he cheats.
2. When his son is 22, he realizes he hasn't been around much as a dad.
3. Hooks up with Liz twice but never calls despite thinking about Liz all.the.time even while screwing other women to help him move on.
4. Gets pissed when Liz doesn't want to date him after he says he wants 'more' (see #3 as to why), then proceeds to pick up two girls in the hotel bar for a threesome and is caught by Liz. But it's ok.since Miles changed his mind in the elevator and was going to send the girls on their way.
Needless to say, Miles had a lot going against him, and he didn't redeem himself at all. Then there's whiny Liz on how she's 35 and felt this connection with Miles, but he never called. Lame.

I plan to read book one because i really do like the writing style and the story line

This was my first book to read from Abbie Zanders and i did not realize until i was half way thru it that it was the second book in the series, I plan to read book one because i really do like the writing style and the story line. This is Liz and Miles story and while it is not a typical love story it is a very good story and it has some very good sex in it. I am on my way to read book 1 then wait for Brendon's story.

Cute story, entertaining read

Not as good as the Callaghan Brothers series, but entertaining just the same. The book seemed to start slowly but once it got going progresses smoothly. It's nice to have a book with middle-age prime characters like Liz and Miles. They are good together; mature professionals who know what they want. Their road's a little rocky, but interesting for the twists and turns. It's a light, fun read.
