When the two return home to Oregon for the holidays, they arrive with a young woman in tow who carries her own bundle of secrets. Caught between two females, Reese and Charles must juggle the woman they are destined to claim and the promises they've made to the desperate younger female wolf.
A complex web of secrecy and denial unfolds as Jessica accepts her mates…and herself. Will the mysterious past uniting Jessica to her new extended family prove to be more than she is willing to handle?

Good book but too much like the previous book in the series
By Amazon Customer
This was great as was "Lyndsey's Wolves". However, the main character Jessica from this book had almost the same situation as Lyndsey from the previous book. [SPOILER ALERT] She suffered from a childhood trauma, the people that caused it comes after her and then the story basically closes.
I can't say it's exactly the same but I did feel I was rereading Lyndsey's story just because they paralleled each other rather closely. Because they were so similiar I took a star away from my rating. Lastly, a large majority of the plot took place in the bedroom and not much happened outside the bedroom. I would have liked to see more plot development and action outside the bedroom. Therefore, I took another star away. A lot of the conflict is within the main female character. I really don't feel Jessica really faced the few characters that caused her childhood trauma and so that problem seems to me to be unresolved or not really addressed.

Is it really a menage if the two men act like one person?
By Margaret
J-- is a werewolf who wishes she wasn't. She works at an elementary school, which unfortunately is a plotline that isn't developed. She meets her destined mates (two of them, C-- and R--); and fights a losing battle against their hotly erotic attraction. There another female werewolf thrown into the mix, but no real conflict; just some coy hints with no details, and then the whole issue is over. Alas, what the plot idea gives, the implementation takes away.
The erotica is nicely done, but I hesitate to call this a ménage. There is not a speck of difference between C-- and R--; and they always act as if both male bodies were controlled by one brain.
My complaints are more numerous, and include a few spoilers. This book doesn't have much world building or plot, though, so I don't think the spoilers are a big deal. The major conflict points in the book are solved by two long monologs, back-to-back. Several ladies sit down at a table, two of them issue long speeches describing why they are upset, and ***bam*** conflict resolved. Don't you wish it were that easy? Wait, no, it was really boring. A good author describes events, doesn't just tell you about them. Those monologs eliminate the two points of conflict (J-- not wanting to be a werewolf, and what is up with A-- anyway?) So the book is left with a lame set of kidnappers / murderers, who literally knock on the door (really?) and then family tells them to go away (murder is okay now? Seriously, I'd be furious if these dweeb murdered my parents, and J-- is okay with them going unpunished? Huh?) Then there is the mental merging of mated werewolf minds. For R-- and C--, this is just a mental cellphone. For J--, this means C-- and R-- can read her every thought, but she never knows what they are thinking. Very lame, incredibly sexist, and poorly excused. Oh, and speaking of sexist, it is clear that C-- and R-- expect J-- to stop working and become a housewife. I fully support one parent staying home to take care of the kids, but this should be a conversation, like can we afford to have someone stay home? ("No" is the usual answer) Who makes most sense to stay home?
I suggest you wait until the price drops to $1. The quality won't be so annoying at that price.

Heartwarming tale of overcoming your fears.
By Crystal Sin
This was a terrific tale of loss, grief and overcoming them in order to live a normal life. I loved it! Charles and Reece were loving and every understanding of what Jessica was going through. Highly reccomended series and book.
